Because of ongoing restoration works within Heaton Park, all guests are required to use ( you can drive straight up to & park by The Orangery ) the St. Margaret's gate entrance off St. Margaret's Road, Prestwich. This is accessed off Manchester Old Road. Heaton Park Orangery is set within Heaton Park itself and is attached to historic Heaton Park Hall. The Hall is currently undergoing some major & needed restoration. Convenience for everyone was primarily the reason for choosing The Orangery as the ceremony, reception and evening function will take place at the one location without the need for cars, taxis etc. Following the wedding ceremony within the Library, guests will move into the Orangery for the reception meal.
For the Evening-Do….
Entertainment will continue at The Orangery until midnight or until everyone becomes bored, whichever happens the soonest. A buffet will serve food for guests, music will play and dancing will be available for whoever fancy’s a boogie on the dance floor. Be warned, music will be funky and of the disco era although all tastes will be catered for at some point. Everyone knows Alison likes to ‘boogie-on’ ! A selection of photographs from the occasion will be displayed on this website soon after the event so keep checking.
